Realme 16 Pro Display
The Realme 16 Pro features a large 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1272 × 2772 pixels. One of the major highlights is its 144Hz refresh rate, which is designed to deliver smoother scrolling, animations and gaming.
The panel supports up to 1.07 billion colours and offers a 240Hz maximum touch sampling rate. Realme lists a peak APL brightness of up to 6,500 nits under specified conditions, while its HBM brightness is rated at 1,400 nits.
The high refresh rate combined with the AMOLED panel makes the device particularly suited to users who consume a lot of video content or play games.
Realme 16 Pro Processor and Performance
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Max 5G chipset. It is an octa-core processor paired with an Arm Mali-G615 GPU.
The phone comes with 8GB or 12GB RAM, depending on the variant, while internal storage goes up to 256GB. Realme uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. There is no microSD card slot for storage expansion.
For everyday usage, the hardware is aimed at providing smooth multitasking, social media use, streaming and gaming. The handset also includes a vapor-chamber cooling system according to current specifications listings.
Realme 16 Pro Camera
Photography is one of the biggest highlights of the Realme 16 Pro.
The smartphone features a 200MP primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. The main camera also supports two-axis optical image stabilisation, which can help reduce camera shake during photography and video recording.
The primary sensor is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 112-degree field of view.
For selfies and video calls, the handset gets a 50MP front camera.
Realme has positioned the 200MP sensor as a major part of the phone’s photography experience, particularly for high-resolution images and portrait photography.
Video Recording Features
The Realme 16 Pro can record video at up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second using both its rear and front cameras.
The rear camera supports electronic and optical stabilisation for 4K recording, while users also get slow-motion, time-lapse, HDR video and multi-view video features.
The combination of OIS and high-resolution imaging gives the Realme 16 Pro a strong focus on users who frequently shoot photos and videos with their smartphones.
Realme 16 Pro Battery and Charging
Battery life is another major selling point.
The Realme 16 Pro packs a large 7,000mAh battery, making it considerably larger than the batteries found in many mainstream smartphones. Realme pairs it with 80W Ultra Charge fast charging.
The phone also supports 55W PPS charging, 13.5W PD 2.0 and 10W BC1.2 charging standards.
For users who spend long hours watching videos, browsing social networks, gaming or using 5G connectivity, the large battery is designed to provide extended usage between charges.
Software and Android Version
The Realme 16 Pro runs Android 16 with Realme’s custom user interface.
The software experience includes the usual Realme interface features, customization options and AI-assisted tools available on the device.
The Harry Potter Edition adds additional themed software elements, making the limited-edition model visually different from the standard smartphone.
Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition
The biggest recent Realme 16 Pro development is the Harry Potter Edition, which was launched in India on September 21, 2026.
The limited edition was created in collaboration with the Harry Potter franchise and features a completely different visual identity compared with the regular model.
The handset gets a textured brown rear panel, Hogwarts-themed elements and custom engraving. The camera module has been designed with inspiration from Hedwig, Harry Potter’s famous owl.
The rear panel also carries the crests of the four Hogwarts houses. The design includes additional themed details intended to make the phone more attractive to franchise collectors.
Harry Potter Edition Specifications
Despite its different design, the Harry Potter Edition does not introduce major hardware upgrades.
The specifications remain broadly identical to the standard Realme 16 Pro 5G. It comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, along with the Dimensity 7300 Max processor, 200MP main camera, 50MP selfie camera, 7,000mAh battery and 80W charging.
The major differences are therefore the design, packaging and software experience.
The special edition is being offered as a limited product, with reports indicating a global production run of only 5,000 units.
